In-Home or Studio Newborn Session
Newborn sessions are unique to each family. I can tell your story, from the comfort of your home or in my beautiful studio located in Galena, IL - using natural light and your new found love… my approach gives you the best of both worlds - lifestyle and posed photographs of your brand new baby.
A lifestyle newborn session means the focus is on your natural connections as a family and my storytelling style allows you to be fully present in the moment, soaking it all in.
I will provide backdrops, props, and outfits in your chosen color scheme (feel free to use your own too!)
Up to 2.5 hours of shooting, 40+ images, siblings (2 and 4 legged) and parents encouraged to join.

Fresh 48 Session
Fresh 48 Sessions, Capture The First Day Of Your Lifelong Love
Do you love the idea of capturing your just born baby, but are maybe not so keen to have a photographer in your birth space? A great alternative to birth coverage is the FRESH 48. The images from this 30 minute birth space session feel remarkably like birth photography, minus the pushing.
There is nothing quite like those first hours with a new baby. You will be amazed how quickly your baby changes those first weeks. A Fresh 48 Session captures your brand new baby and all of those tiny details found in the hospital (or wherever you give birth). The hospital bands around his tiny ankles, the clear bassinet, and of course, your intense love for this little being you just brought into this world.
Fresh 48 sessions are also the perfect time to capture siblings meeting for the very first time. Having me present to photograph the first meeting means you can enjoy this time together as a family, soaking up your new little one.
These sessions are about love and EMOTION. You’ll look back at these photographs and remember the feel of your baby, breathing in their fresh smell, feeling their downy hair tickle your nose when you press kisses to their head, and the pure joy of seeing your husband hold your newborn for the first time. These are raw, fleeting moments that you’ll want to remember when your for the rest of your life.
